So here we are again. We are just finish up our unit on Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition. . .the processes that drive everything that we see around us. Through out New York State, our landscape has been sculpted and carved by several different types of these three terms. Give an example of one landscape feature that you see in our area and discuss which process of weathering, erosion, or deposition that helped create that landscape.
Get to it!

One example of a landscape feature in our area that involves weathering, erosion and deposition is the bluffs. It involves weathering because it is exposed to the atmosphere and is broken down by it. It involves erosion because there is sediments moving all over the place. It involves deposition because sediments are stopped and settle at a certain spot. (especially at the bottom)
