So here we are again at the beginning of another great year in Earth Science. The year has started off great and the students are working harder than ever to be successful this year. I am proud to see this in you, my Earth Science students.
This brings me to the next piece. .. Minerals. . . they are everywhere. When I look around the room, I am blown away by the amount of minerals I see that surround me, and not just because I have a collection of them in the back of the room. Minerals are crucial pieces to the building blocks that make up all that is around us in this world.
Can you think of one use of minerals that may be in a substance that you are in contact with everyday? How about a location on the web that can help others understand where to find the uses of minerals in everyday life? Go out and look around and post your findings right here on the blog.
